So far we've added Florida's property tax benefits for disabled veterans, checked against the Florida Department of Revenue and the Florida Statutes. Florida has other veteran programs we haven't added yet.
Property tax at a glance
Florida offers a $5,000 reduction in assessed value for veterans disabled 10% or more, a total homestead exemption for a service-connected total and permanent disability, and a discount for some disabled veterans 65 or older. Apply with your county property appraiser by March 1 (PT-109).
